FAQ
Questions we hear most often.
General
Where do you pick up from?+
Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke, Oakville and the west half of Toronto. Other parts of the GTA may incur a small travel fee — ask first.
How far ahead should I book?+
Two to three weeks for regular lessons. Senior assessments are usually available the same week — call directly for those.
What forms of payment do you take?+
Cash or e-transfer. Payment is at the first lesson; packages can be paid in two instalments.
What's your cancellation policy?+
24 hours notice for a free reschedule. Same-day cancellations are charged 50% of the lesson fee.
Do you provide the car for the road test?+
Yes. The dual-control sedan we train in is the same car you take the test in. It's included in any 6+ hour package.
How long does it take to be ready for the G2?+
It depends on starting point and frequency. Most students who book the 10-hour package and practise between lessons feel ready in 6–8 weeks.
Can I do a single lesson before committing to a package?+
Yes. The first lesson is $80 and credits toward a package if you book one within 30 days.
Senior assessments
How does a senior re-assessment differ from a road test?+
It's observational, not pass/fail. The goal is a clear, honest picture of how the driver handles everyday situations, written up the same day. We don't share the report with the MTO.
Can I do an assessment in my own vehicle?+
Yes — many seniors prefer this. We just need proof of insurance and a brief vehicle check before we set off.
Will my doctor or the MTO see the report?+
Only if you choose to share it. The report goes to you (or whoever booked the assessment) by email the same day.
What if the driver isn't comfortable being assessed?+
We start with a quiet conversation at home and only drive if the driver wants to. The fee covers our time either way — but no one is pressured into a vehicle.
